This Butt Is No Joke

Ed is serious about his new smoker.  After much research and some lengthy conversations with our friend Gary (who is enjoying his smoker), Ed decided his first piece of meat was going to be a ten pound Boston Butt, also known as a Pork Shoulder.

We bought the butt at Dickman's Meat & Deli and when we got home, Ed prepared it with a basic spice rub.  I'm really looking forward to tasting the result of Ed's extensive research.
