We've finally had a chance to stop home for a few days. We have truck repairs to get done and appointments to go to. Joy. Well, for me it was, because after my appointment today, I went shopping.
I bought this cute little owl mug - inspired by the Geico commercial with the owls. Who?
And bike shorts - omg, you don't even want to know what I look like in those things.
And a cute notepad in a box. It's got a bicycle on it - you can see in the background.
Tomorrow I have a morning appointment. You know what that means, right?
All afternoon to shop.
On the other hand, it's going to be 101 degrees. That might put a huge kink in the plans.

Your new blog design looks great! I had a lot of reading to do - I was behind! : )
Happy weekend...
BA
Cute mug.
You are getting into the bicycling. Good for you.
RE bike shorts: love them, and I always wear cargo shorts over them (pocket for the iPhone; don't feel so exposed in biking shorts). But the padding is greatly appreciated.
I am wishing I'd applied sunscreen to my chest with all the biking I did in Southern California. Too late now; face is fine (sunscreen and always makeup for extra protection) but skin on chest is more weathered. Alas.
Learn from my mistake!
Have a great weekend.
BAN: Thanks! There's only so much I can do and I wanted the photos to be bigger and some tabs up on top, so this is what I found worked. I like to keep it simple and uncluttered and since I use templates available to me and don't "build" my own, I think my options are a bit limited. How does the text look on your end - I've looked at it in several browsers and in some, it's really small. Legible, but small. Maybe it's my old eyes.
BELLEDOG: I am really liking the bicycling. I've only been out once since I've been home though. It's almost 100 degrees everyday and I can't hack that. 30 minutes is my limit and even THAT is pushing it.
