When we're on a team run like this current one, there isn't much to write about because all we're doing is driving. And when we're driving a lot, Ed has a tendency to baby me a little. He thinks when we have to drive a lot, I'm working too hard. Thing is, I never really feel like this is work. It's very rare that we have to push ourselves and do the crazy drive/eat/sleep routine, but even when we do, I feel like I'm sitting in a lazy boy in my living room that just happens to be moving down an interstate.
This trip takes us from California to Maine, and along the way we'll definitely be hitting some snow; for us, it'll be the first of the season. I am completely in love with getting into some cold weather, but since I usually drive at night, I'm not completely in love with inclement weather. And that's only because it's more difficult to determine the road conditions when you can't see the surface of the road.
So this is short and sweet because I don't have much time to type. Just giving an update until I have something worthwhile to blab about. See you on the flip side, as they say in the industry!
