We read about Stanley Marketplace (very cool history) and decided to go check it out. We figured we'd walk around and then get a bite to eat.
We both got our hair cut at Semion Barbershop, and then had dinner at Boychik, a Mediterranean restaurant we thought would be a healthy choice.
This was the Mezze Appetizer Platter - hummus, pickled cauliflower, broccoli florets, herbed nuts and seeds, olives, marinated feta, and Muhammara (delicious!) served with assorted vegetables. Everything on the plate was delicious.
Ed had the Falafel Plate, which was served with pita bread, cucumber & tomato salad, zhoug
(delicious!), hummus, quinoa tabbouleh, and Boychik sauce.
Everything was amazing. I loved the restaurant decor and the food presentation, but I was especially enamored with the Muhammara. I've never had it before, and it was delicious. Something I'd definitely make at home.
Mediterranean food is one of my favorite cuisines. Next on my list of places to try is the kebab place near me. Can't wait!
