Five Hours Of Bliss

The last time I saw significant snow in my front yard was in 2015, but this storm dumped so much more on us. I got up early to go out and get pictures. This happened last week, on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

At 6am it was still actively snowing but too dark to take pictures, so I went back out at 7:45am. The sky was still overcast but there was enough light to take these shots. It was SO beautiful!!

All the delicate bushes had snow piled on each branch, and there were little piles on top of the saguaros. And look at the birdbath! That’s three inches of snow right there. Spectacular!

I wish this would happen more often. By 11am it was gone. Just like that.

I definitely need to move somewhere snowy.
