A Very Special Cadillac

According to the car museum at Graceland, this 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special "was perhaps the most famous of Elvis' cars and one of the few he kept throughout his lifetime.  Custom-painted pink, this car was first used by Elvis for touring, before he gave the car to his mother.

He often referred to the car as "Gladys' car" because it was her favorite - even though she didn't have a driver's license."

This car had a 331-cubic-inch, 8-cylinder, 250-horsepower engine.  The Original Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price was $4,728.00.

There were 18,300 Fleetwoods built in 1955.
