Diamonds In The Deep Blue

This picture has not been tampered with in any way; it's exactly how the water looked, when I peered over a cliff into Crater Lake.

It was sparkling like diamonds. Ed noticed a huge school of fish beneath the water and we think that might have caused the sparkle; the sun relflecting off their scales. It was just a spectacular sight.

WOW!

You see the most beautiful things,at least you get to witness the good bits of the world and not just the bad bits we all see daily on the news.

Must make you glad you're living your life and not just existing like the majority of us.

Enjoy! And enjoy just that little bit more for me!! X

Wow is right! Unbelievable to capture the sparkles like that. Good job.

I've just started dabbling with Corel and different effects on photos. Quite fun to do.

That is unbelievably gorgeous...and I'll take that photo as the addendum to my lovely birthday gift already received--can I make mine do that?!

And thanks for the wishes!

I've been to Crater Lake twice in my life, once as a kid and once as an adult, and I always felt this tremendous urge to jump into that too-blue-to-be-true water. Great shot!

I wish we would come back in the spring and see more wildlife. As it is I did catch a picture of a Red Tailed Hawk swooping UNDER us as we stood on the rim road around the lake.
