Western Ed Friday

This little hat and duster ensemble that Ed is modeling can only be described as Early American Cowboy. The perplexing thing to me, is why they would sell this in a truckstop.

There aren't any stagecoaches parked out in that thar lot, and when we talk horsepower, people, we don't actually mean horses.

Unfortunately this was the height of fashion for a few truck drivers 8-10 years ago. It was always odd and not as uncommon as you might think to see this exact outfit on somebody on the fuel island. AND you would see it in the middle of summer.

There are still a few erstwhile cowboys out there who seem to like this image. I like it better than tanktops and cutoffs! but, to each his own. Ed looks good in anything!

Because the bull haulers need to be fashionable too? NO clue. But the Ed looks very nice in that getup. One has to be a large man to pull off the duster. But the hat...eh. Not so much.
