I'd Like To Make A Toast

It was the day after the show, we finally were able to sleep in a bit, but we had one more restaurant to hit with our friends before we left town. Well, before they left town since we were still planning on hanging around. They found this little place downtown and had already had breakfast there once during their stay; they assured us it was delicious. It's in the East Market District in Louisville. A cute little neighborhood dotted with art galleries and places like this. Toast is open for breakfast and lunch every day except Monday. They offer free wi-fi, an outdoor seating area and you can get breakfast ALL DAY.
The place is called Toast On Market. It has a big, airy dining area, great service and awesome food; pancakes, french toast, Eggs and their amazing and memorable hash brown casserole. It was like nothing I've ever tasted before. They also had suprisingly delicious lattes; mine came in a huge, oversized mug. This is definitely a place we'll go back to.

Even though we've been doing a whole lot of dining out, I haven't forgotten about the truck show. You can read a bit about the beauty contest portion of the MATS over at Life On The Road by clicking

So, my friend owns Toast! (Yeah, that doesn't really make me more awesome, but still, she does!)

I thought about you when I saw via facebook thar you were in my neck of the woods... totally should have met you and Ed for a yummy bite while you were here. Next time?
