Good Morning Kansas

Waking at a rest area somewhere in Kansas.  I prefer sunrises to sunsets, but driving into a rising sun is as hard as driving toward a setting one.  Much prettier in my opinion, but hell on the eyes.

Boo to you and Eddie. Hope you are having a treat of a day.

Trivia fact: learned today that one of my fave cult movies, Carnival of Souls, was filmed in Lawrence, KS, with additional filming at the old Saltaire Pavilion near Salt Lake City (since burned but replaced, I think). Filmed in 1962 for $33,000 and it's a very good effort. Have you ever seen it?

Have been glued to Turner Classic Movies today.
