Alaska Later

Knock, Knock
Who's there?
Alaska.
Alaska, who?
Alaska later, cause right now I'm trying to remember where I left her!

OK, OK. I know it's lame, but there aren't many good jokes about Alaska. Why the Alaska joke?

Because we are GOING there!!! Yes! And I'm so excited. We have to be there next Friday, so we are leaving Oklahoma tonight and will travel North; through Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and then into Canada. Once in Canada, we'll travel through the Provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia and then we'll cut across a little corner of the Yukon before we head into Alaska. Once we arrive in Anchorage, we'll have covered 4,036 miles!

The last time we were in those Canadian Provinces, it was December. Very cold and a little dreary due to the weather, but beautiful nonetheless. This trip, I'm hoping to get some great pictures, especially in Alberta where the Canadian Rockies are. As for Alaska, I will take pictures of everything I see and post them here when I get back.

I may not be able to post for a while; it all depends on the availability of the wireless signal for my laptop. If I don't post anything new, keep checking back - or check out this information on The Last Frontier.

The weather is supposed to be between 40 and 60 degrees. That is my IDEAL weather. I'm going to be so happy for the next week. In the meantime, I'll hang up the flip flops for a little while and come up with some better knock knock jokes.
