Homeward Bound!

This is the plane we came in on; it landed on the tarmac, which I hadn't done in over twenty years. The first time I flew to Arizona, we exited on the tarmac, and today we'll be leaving Providenciales the same way. Today ended our two week vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Overall, it was a success. Very expensive, but a success nonetheless. We snorkeled, went parasailing, took a Hobie Cat out, found a beautiful conch, two starfish, a bunch of tiny shells, got a tan and met a United States Congressman.

I'm looking forward to getting back home, to civilization. I think two weeks on an island is a little much for me. It was nice, but I'm ready for a day at Barnes & Noble and a Dunkin' Donuts latte.

I also have to start planning our next getaway - next month, for my birthday. I have a few ideas but I'm not exactly sure where I want to go. I DO know that it's not going to have water, a beach or even sun if I can help it. I've had enough of all three to last me at least a year.
