A Window On New Mexico

Taken on Interstate 40 in New Mexico, just after a rainstorm. Everything was illuminated by the bright light of the setting sun.

This is what I love about the southwest! Driving through desert, seeing a landscape that seems endless. So blissful.

GIL: The rain certainly perks things up out there.

SCOTT: I know! The sun was so bright - we were driving west as it was setting, so it really was just the perfect time of day for a shot like this - after a storm, with good light.

TRUCK: A lot of people like the Southwest. It's one of my least favorite places, but it really does have endless landscapes!
