Sin In The Distance

A view of the city of Las Vegas from approximately fifteen miles due north of the famous strip.  A bustling party town plunked in the middle of the Nevada desert. 

It's so barren.  So ugly.  And so hot.  Really fucking hot. 

It was 110 degrees today.  The state is under an excessive heat warning - temperatures in some areas ranging from 100 to 125 degrees.

Not really a place to visit in the summer.
