I Did Not See Any Monks

It was rainy, cold, and overcast on the day we visited Melk Abbey, the Benedictine Abbey that sits on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Danube River in Melk, Austria.

We weren't allowed to take any photos inside the abbey - you can see some on Google if you click here - but let me tell you right now...the pictures do not do it justice.

It's truly spectacular.
