Escaping The Southwest

After two and a half weeks at home, we're finally hitting the road again.  We voted, went to see our doctors, organized our mail and paperwork, drove to the top of a 9,000 foot mountain, got the truck worked on, saw our friends, and dined wtih family. 

I was SO ready to leave the sun and heat.  We're headed to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where I know we'll be hitting cooler temperatures.  I secretly have my fingers crossed for snow.
