No Snow For Winter AND Stupid Syfy Movies

Ed and I ran out to do some errands today and we passed this house on the way out of the neighborhood.  A lot of people - including us - do this with their century plants, adding Christmas ornaments to the ends of the spiked leaves.  It adds a real festive look to what's otherwise a very ugly landscape to celebrate Christmas in.

We bought new Rubbermaid bins for the side boxes of the truck and trailer and we'll spend tomorrow organizing some of the items we carry with us.  I think we'll be leaving some stuff home since we really want to eliminate crap we don't use regularly.

Our bikes have their own rack in the trailer and they no longer need to be taken apart to fit into the storage box.  And Ed got our lawn chairs out of the shed and stowed them in the trailer - even though it's still winter, we're bound to hit some warm weather eventually and we'll need them with us.  I can't really think of much else we need to do on the truck end.  I try to make lists because if I don't, I wind up cramming everything into the day before we leave.

Looks like we'll be here at least another week.  Unfortunately, it also looks like we'll be watching stupid movies like Dinocroc vs. Supergator on the Syfy channel.  I can't believe people watch this shit.

How am I lucky enough to get a mother and a boyfriend with the same taste in movies??
