The El Tour de Mesa Ed rode in yesterday was held in, you guessed it, Mesa.
I took a walk while Ed was out riding and came across a really beautiful neighborhood - the West Second Street Historic District - that had gorgeous tree-lined streets, beautifully kept homes and actual lawns with grass.

There are 50 historic homes in this district, of various architectural styles. It's just the kind of neighborhood I'd love to live in. Lots of trees, sidewalks, lawns. We don't have sidewalks and lawns in my neighborhood, just a lot of cactus and dirt.
So I walked 2.1 miles that I didn't plan on, which turned out to be really pleasant because the neighborhood was so darn cute.
I love accidental exercise.
