Pride In The Desert

Today marks the start of Pride Month.

The rainbow is used to represent the diversity of the LGBT community.  

The first rainbow flag was created in 1978 by Gilbert Baker, a gay activist.

Today the the flag is recognized as a symbol of LGBT pride and LGBT social movements.
