Just before we crossed the Deception Pass bridge, we saw a little viewing area turnout. Since we were tooling along at a nice steady pace, when Ed turned into it so quickly, I thought we'd plunge over the edge. Thankfully, we did not. Here's a little Wiki info on the pass.
We stopped to take a few pictures before crossing over and officially being on Whidbey Island, where we did more sightseeing, picture taking and eating.
