The Daily Rant: Would You Like A Little Screech To Go With Your Whine?

As promised, here he is.

A distinct whine and a loud screech; these are the sounds of the Herring Gull. They are loud enough to be heard over the waves crashing against the rocks and no matter where I am when I hear that sound, it makes me think of the ocean.
