The Longest Shortcut

Nevada State Route 318 is supposed to be a "shortcut" between Las Vegas and Ely.

But while you're on it, it feels like the longest road ever.

And these are the lonely, long-ass roads truck drivers should be appreciated for traveling.

Someone got their goods today because we drove this godforsaken strip of highway.

You're welcome.

I recall a real estate ad once promoting such stark, lunar desolation as "clean country living!" LOL!

M: Such a perfect description - "stark, lunar desolation". Not my idea of any kind of country living! LOL
