True Xeriscape

In Arizona, you'll see lots of these metal sculptures.  I bought one for my mother that she keeps near her front porch - it's a basket with large, red flowers "growing" out of it.

I've seen a few around our neighborhood.  One yard has them planted in the ground like regular flowers, circled at the bast with landscaping rocks.

I like the color they add to the otherwise dull, brown desert landscape.

And, they don't need to be watered, which is a plus.
