The Spanish Trail Motel in Tucson, Arizona has been around for years. It's also been abandoned for years.
Earlier this year a fire damaged much of what was left of the building and the sign is one of the last identifiable pieces left.
I've always liked this building. I've written about it in the past. It was colorful, unique, retro. It's a shame it wasn't restored and used for something else rather than left to deteriorate.
