Historic Dining

I was walking in downtown Salt Lake City when this building between two modern buildings caught my eye.

It reminded me of the story about Edith Macefield of Seattle, who wouldn't sell her house (not even for a million dollars!) and commercial developers built around her on three sides.

The late nineteenth century building in this photo, one of Salt Lake City's most historic, now houses a restaurant called Martine.
