White's Bastard Cousin

Bruno Truck Sales in Brooklyn, NY. Photo taken from the Gowanus Expressway.

You can see that the sign says White on it - White Motor Company was a truck and car manufacturer founded in 1900. It's rare to see a White tractor on the road today, and if you do, they're pretty old. I've actually seen one! Also at one time under the
White umbrella, was Sterling-Western Star and Freightliner. So in essence, we're kinda driving the distant cousin of White.

If I were reeeally into trucks, I might say "Cool".

It's the Autocar sign that got my attention. Long before I became a truck driver I used to have a poster of a Autocar truck up on my wall in my bedroom. I wanted to drive an Autocar. Never got the chance to. Now I am a Peterbilt girl.
