Doris Day Spends The Weekend In Texas

A friend of mine used to call a close parking spot "Doris Day Parking".  That's exactly what we got this weekend at the hotel we're staying at.

We pulled up, hoping to be able to go around the building, but Ed decided he'd just drop everything off instead and then go park down the hill in the big lot designated for the hotel overflow traffic.  You can see the truck in the left of this photo, right across from the
porte-cochère.
When Ed checked in, he asked about parking and the guy at the front desk told him he could stay right where he was.  Score!  In this picture, Ed is on the trailer (I have no idea what he's doing) before he headed into the building.
The hotel is brand new and the room is beautiful.  This is going to be a nice, relaxing two days.  The weather's beautiful, the laundry is done, we've had dinner, and on Monday, we'll go back to work.  Ed seems pretty happy here, all waving and shit, doesn't he?
He might not say it out loud, but he loves staying in hotels as much as I do.
