Compliance By Guilt

Don't want to be responsible for killing kids?  Shut off your engine.

At least this sign wasn't in a truck stop.  I came across this in a city park in New Jersey.  On the fence near the basketball courts.

Makes sense.  And there were no cars idling, so maybe it works.

Perhaps we do need to put these up in truck stops.

Strange logo.

I thought the banned symbol was over a baby in swaddling clothes.

Guess it's just smoke (which would look more like smoke if it was not solid, hmmm?)

Commendable to worry about children's lungs, though.

What about the lungs of children who grow up to be truckers, though?

BELLEDOG: So funny. I thought it was a baby bundle too. And I was thinking, 'does that mean no dead babies?' But that seemed weird. I still thought it was an interesting sign - thinking they didn't want dead babies but young healthy kids like the two other symbols - so I took a picture. Now with you saying this I see that it exhaust smoke. Ha! Thanks.
