The Mountain Was Out

Today we're in the Pacific Northwest.  Gosh, I love it up here.  The weather was GOR-GEE-OUS!!

The mountain was even out.

When I lived in Seattle, saying "the mountain is out" was a way people underscored the fact that the weather was beautiful, with skies clear enough to see all the way to Mount Rainier.

It's so amazing, you almost forget it's an active volcano.

I didn't know you lived in Seattle. (Almost moved there myself in 1992-3. When it was last affordable, probably. Just before the Microsoft millionaires phenom.)

Gorgeous pic. Enjoy that PNW. You headed further north yet?

Cheers.

Great photo! I was lucky enough to see that in person last week.

BELLEDOG: I've lived in New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, Arizona, Nashville, Kentucky, and Alexandria, VA. We've left the PNW, heading to Florida now.

RW: Glad you like the photo! It's so great to see in person - it really defines the horizon. Thanks for commenting!
