This Place Rocked My World

I found these rock stacks at French Beach Provincial Park located on Highway 14 about fourteen miles west of Sooke, British Columbia.

The entire beach was covered in flat, smooth stones.  Since I've been into rock painting lately, I was stunned by the amount of paint-worthy rocks that lined the shores.  Not a sand beach for relaxing and sunning, but more of a place to set up a chair and just watch the water.  If the walk back to the car wasn't so far, I think I just may have hauled out bags of rocks for painting!
