This Is What Fall Looks Like
The sun shinging through a blanket of orange leaves... A lodge on a ridge... With a view that makes you want to jump into it... A lane for walking, where even the dogs stop to rub their noses in the beauty... Flames outside of my window... And a path down to the cliff overlooking the gorge... A tattered flag flying high, waving its colors at the colors of the trees... A ride to the nearby Mennonite Community of Muddy Pond, to watch Sorghum being made by hand... A tree on fire, blazing in the sun... An open gate, inviting you to take either path at the fork in the road... A grasshopper/locust/some sort of flourescent bug, basking in the sun...The sun breaking through the clouds... A pine cone waiting to be picked off the tree and thrown into a holiday display... And a lone leaf, hanging on till the breeze blows it to the ground, joining the others... This is what Fall looks like.

Your pictures are gorgeous. Makes me wish all the leaves weren't gone here in upstate NY.
