What A Difference A Day Makes

Yesterday we were here:
 Today we are here:
We chose a hot load, that had to get from Watertown, New York to Miami, Florida as soon as humanly possible.  And we did it.

1,523 miles in 26 hours.  We even kicked up our speed from our usual 58 mph to 65 mph.  We rarely do that.

We arrived at 6:15 pm and the freight we were hauling had to be on a plane leaving at 8:00 pm.  The freight forwarders didn't have much time to dismantle the pallets and get it to the airport, but that's wasn't our problem.  We fulfilled our part of the deal, so once we unloaded, we waved goodbye and headed out to find dinner.

Ed is happy to be back in warm weather, I could have used a few more days in four feet of snow.

Tomorrow we hunt for Cuban food.
