When We Were Young

This pastel drawing of my brother and I was done at a county fair in New York on August 10, 1974.  My brother was five and I was six, but we both have birthdays in September, so we were very close to six and seven.  My mother loves it so much, has this picture hanging in her house.

And I can understand why.  We're so damn cute!
