Really sad to hear... blessings and warm thoughts to you and your family! The picture of your father is wonderful...thanks for sharing that special memory.
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 10 years ago. He was 68. The pain has lessened, but I still miss him. My prayers are with you and your family.
I'm not quite sure I believe it yet. It's almost like we are talking about the life of someone else.
He will be remembered by so many, the same way you remember him. "The personality and warmth and happiness and fun loving man." All of these wonderful qualities with live on through you, because YOU are HIS!
I, will always remember him as a ridiculously handsome man who wise cracked, loved to chat, play cards and took great pleasure in feeding me. Also the man, that as a 22 years old young girl, I had an enormous crush on.
He is gone from here but has left behind so many memories and things to be cherished. You my friend are one of them.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. From that picture he appears to be a fun loving guy that you will miss dearly. He is home now and one day you will see him again.
I too lost my father 12 years ago and there isn't one day that goes by that I don't think about him.
The first time I read this - I cried - because I wanted to walk through my screen and hug the SH*T out of you - in case YOU cried. So everyday - I came back and re-read this and then tried to write something - but everytime I read your salutation I cry. SO TOday through my tears I want you to know that Im this stranger you met a few months back. No one in your life really - a random email address whose heart breaks at the thought of your loss. I care about your well-being soo much and I hope that you and your family are ok. You are in mine and Jason's prayers every night - although now he doesn't ask me whose Salena.
