My mother's new kitten. I took this while she was asleep. I don't think she would have let me get this close if she wasn't sleeping; she likes to swat everything within a foot of her body.

That is a really amazing shot. The detail is fantastic.
PS. At least she doesn't head-butt everything. Both of my cats head-butt anyone who gets near them. One of them actually takes a run to build momentum before head-butting us. I think she must have watched a Discover channel special on big horn sheep or goats when she was a kitten.
