In The Nick Of Time

We sat in the truck stop watching the power company trucks trickle in.  By the time we left this morning, there were ten of them.  Waiting for the Storm of the Century to unfold.  Well, if you don't count the storm of the century that hit them two weeks ago.

This is what it looked like when we left South Carolina early this afternoon.  We were getting out just in the nick of time.

We're heading to the Northeast, where snow is expected, but also where they are not only prepared for it, but know how to drive in it.  I suspect we'll be enjoying several inches of snow - somewhere between six and fifteen if the forecast is right - for Valentine's Day.
I can't think of a better way to celebrate the love.

Later, Dixie!
