The Still Before The Storm

I've been dying to see snow and I finally got a real dose of it.  We left South Carolina just before their ice storm hit and made it to the part of New York where I grew up, thirteen hours later.  The storm that dumped ice on the South is headed our way tonight and I, unlike so many other people, have my fingers crossed that we'll get dumped on and I'll be smack in the middle of all the snowfall.

This field, with the four trees and the three lonely benches, was across the street from the place we picked up our load.  The snow was untouched and the sky was overcast.  The air was still.  New snow is on the way.

This is my New York in black and white.
