Electric

My favorite song from the movie The Greatest Showman is This Is Me, but this one definitely comes in second.

The women singing is supposed to be Jenny Lind, the famous Swedish opera singer who in real life, was persuaded by P.T. Barnum to come to the U.S. to perform in concert. In 1850, she did a 93-show tour in America grossing $350,000 - which today would be over ten million dollars ($10,795,806.81 to be exact) - most of which she gave to charity.

The actress who played Jenny Lind, Rebecca Ferguson, didn't do the actual singing in the movie.  That was done by a former contestant on "The Voice", Loren Allred.  You can see Loren perform the song here.

I love this scene.  And I love the way Zac Efron reaches out to grasp Zendaya's hand - you'll need to see the movie to fully understand that electric moment.

Ugh, their chemistry!
