Fingers Crossed For All Things Motorized!

If you've been reading my blog for any length of time, you know that my best friend in ALL THE WORLD is Vicki. I've known Vicki for over twenty years and we are so compatible that we often joke we each possess half of the same brain.

Her husband Anthony, who I've known almost as long (we met him not long after Vicki and I became friends - that meeting is another story) is a very close friend of mine as well. I can't say enough nice things about Anthony. Yes, he's a big pain in the ass sometimes, but he's also kind, loving, funny, generous, smart, reliable and talented. He is Master Carpenter by trade, who runs his own company in Nashville, TN.

Recently he teamed up with a friend, Donny Hackett, to meld together both of their talents; Donny's fascination with gadgetry and motorization and Anthony's talent and skill to create beautiful showcases for them.

Below is a video that was shot this week that is being considered a sort of "audition" tape for a pilot to be aired on a network like TLC, HGTV or Discovery Channel.

Since this just took place this week, I don't have any news about what the outcome of the filming was, but I do know they got some very positive feedback from the producers and the film crew. The bulk of the film is off to L.A. and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it works out just the way they want it to.

And if they ever need a truck to haul their "Motorize This!" stuff across the country, I know the perfect person...
