I took this picture last week in Chelsea Market in New York City. It's a perfect illustration for what's going on this weekend...nothing but time. We didn't find a load out today, so we'll be hanging out in the truck for the weekend. Maybe I can get Ed to take me for a mani/pedi.

Seems like people are having a lot of down time these days. I hope that you at least have good weather!

I know you had some information regarding the Plum Truckers months ago. Has there been any update?

GIL: We've been pretty busy, and not taking a load this weekend was by choice - everything was just TOO heavy - most of them at 45,000 pounds - and none of it was going anywhere we want to go right now (CA, UT, WA, ND, SD, CO). And we've already been to Barnes & Noble, so I'm happy! :)
ANONYMOUS: I haven't heard ANYTHING from the Plum Truckers since October 2011. I've written several emails to Michelle but she never responded. I have no idea what happened with them. We all were interested in their story, but it turned out to be pretty disappointing they way they've responded.
Hey Salena and ED, enjoy your wknd and time off..in the chgo area its gonna be 90..ouch!!! I sure agree about the plums, it's just so disappointing how they dropped off the planet,everyone was enjoying their story and adventures...if it was a baby??? i'm sure she's had it by now..who knows, maybe someday we'll hear from them..
every time i cross paths with a con-way truck, i check to see if Michelle and Kendall are in there..
oh well, i'm so glad we have you and ed to follow and enjoy..take care..
