Sunset Cycling

Today we went on our first bike ride of the year.

We're still home and we've been doing a lot of nothing.  I think I may have mentioned that we watched every RedBox movie available, we've done some shopping, we went to doctors and dentists, and ate out a lot.  Oh, and I finally watched The Grocer's Son, which I've been wanting to see because I'm completely in love with
Nicolas Cazalé.

It felt good to be outside today.  It's not hot, so I was happy, and since the sun was setting we only did four miles - a quick loop around the neighborhood.  I actually rode through an area I've never been to, about a mile from my house.  I passed this street a million times in the past 30 years, and I've never driven down it.

At one time, from what I've heard, this was all horse property and ranches.  The houses are all in the $600,000 and up range and all of them has horses - one even had individual open stalls outside, containing at least twenty horses.  And there were quite a few people out exercising their horses - or whatever it's called when they trot them around.

The sun was setting as we headed back to the house, and we were home in time for dinner.

I think you guys spend more time relaxing than trucking. Which is a good thing :)
