Three Hours Of Mumbling McConaughey

I'm not really sure what the purpose of having a Delaware State Trooper posted in the lobby of the movie theater was - so bored with the non-activity, that he spent quite a bit of time texting - but I did feel safe for the three hours I was in the theater watching Interstellar.

Kind of want to see that movie, but newspapers also have mentioned the dialog is hard to hear. What purpose does that serve?

Did you ever see "Dallas Buyers Club"? That was a favorite last year, in a strong field.

Saw "The Hundred Foot Journey" the other night. A fairy tale with food. Liked the Indian father character. Very good actor -- Om Puri. He's been in a lot of good films I've not seen yet. What's scary -- he's only 8 years older than me, and looks to be in his 70s!

BELLEDOG: The newspaper mentioned the low dialog too? I thought maybe it was me and my old ears or the speakers in the theater but apparently that's not the case. I really sat there thinking, "Did they make this movie intentionally with such low volume on the dialog?" I seriously had to strain to hear what they were saying. Thankfully the people in the theater were so quiet you could hear a pin drop - probably because everyone was straining to hear them speak.

I did see "Dallas Buyers Club" and liked it.

And I want to see "The Hundred Foot Journey" too - I saw the previews and it's definitely something I know I'd enjoy.

We saw "Begin Again" this week (Mark Ruffalo, Keira Knightley, Adam Levine) and really liked it. I enjoyed the soundtrack too.
