The Supers And More

Stephanie Seymour, Cindy Crawford, Tatjana Patitz, Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell
by Herb Ritts

How about we take a little break from all the cruise posts - I only have two left, the Panama Canal and Columbia - to check out some links from my Flipboard flipping?  Here's what I've come across in the last week or so:

Carrot Cake Breakfast Cookies??  Where do I sign up?  51 of the Best Breakfast Recipes ever.

I'd take this test in a heartbeat.  I'd love to know the specifics of my ethnic background.

I take pictures of everything with my phone and having this ability makes life much easier.

I love photo tips.  There's 60 of them here and another 77 here.  I'm sure you'll learn something useful.

Who doesn't remember the photo of the original Supermodels taken by Herb Ritts?  If you're in Boston, you can see more of his fantastic work.

Long walks and dry dog food.  The secret to losing 44 pounds.  Will this be the next diet craze?

The Cotswolds are definitely on my list of places to visit on our future (who knows when?) UK trip.

When I'm done trucking, I think I might go into the furniture redesign business.

Do you love coffee?  Ryoko does too.

$6.5 million dollars?  Really??  That's just not right.  Well, unless someone wanted to pay me that kind of money for taking a picture.  Then it would be totally right.  Still nuts, still not worth it, but totally okay by me.

So important.  So so so important.

I don't know about collard greens, but I'd definitely do this with spinach.

Every time I see photos like this of the very area in which I grew up, I get a little sad.  I still have hope that this area in the beautiful Catskills will rise again.

Eyes may be the window to our soul, but our faces tell a deeper story.

One of Ed's dream trips.

That should have kept you busy for a while.  I'll be back soon with the last two recaps from the cruise - the journey through the Panama Canal, and Cartagena, Columbia.

Until then...

very sad to see the Catskills like that. My uncles old motel in Roscoe is also empty (we're going to visit in May). Its a sign of the times that there was only 2 motels in Roscoe that we could stay in-its all self rental properties around there now.
