The Kaufmann's Clock, located at the corner of Smithfield Street and Fifth Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Kaufmann's Department Store was founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1871 by Morris, Jacob, and Isaac Kaufmann. In the early 20th century, the store was owned by Morris's son, Edgar J. Kaufmann.
Edgar was also known for commissioning the architectural masterpiece Fallingwater, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
