All The Color I Need

Ed and I have been home since Christmas Eve. We've been doing a lot of running around for errands and shopping but equally as much lounging around. Since we're in the desert, the landscape is pretty dismal and very brown; most time of the year but especially during the winter.

As I sit in the lazyboy, flipping through the many magazines I've received during the weeks I was on the road, I look out the window and don't see much color. Thankfully, I have this beautiful stained glass lampshade made by my step-father Frank, perched beside my lazyboy. It provides all the color I need to complete my day of loafing.

That's beautiful.

What a wonderful heirloom from Frank. Hand made, too.
