The Best Trail In Town

These tracks lie between South Lake Shore Drive and Michigan Avenue.  We crossed them on yesterday's bike ride, via a pedestrian bridge, to go to the bike shops where we bought our new bike accessories.

The oval structure on the right side of the picture is Soldier Field, in the distance you can see the city.

The city has one of the best paved trails I've been on yet - 18 miles along Lake Michigan.  Shaded and scenic, with tons of places to stop for a rest.

I can't even believe something this awesome exists!  Who knew this biking thing would be so much fun?
