I may be among traffic every day, somewhere in the country, but I'm so glad I don't have to SIT in it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. on my way to work.
That shiny, cylindrical building right in the center is the Westin Peachtree Plaza. I used to have an old Westin buddy who worked there and vowed that I was going to visit but never got around to it. I've been to Underground Atlanta and the World of Coca-Cola, but have yet to really immerse myself in the town.
Someday...

My great trip to Atlanta was a conference on telephone regulation for work. It was held in a hotel at or near the airport - miles from the city itself. Would love to go to Underground Atlanta, but would rather go to Naples again if I had the choice.
People always claimed NY or Chicago or LA had the worst traffic. I'd rather be in any of those three to keep out of the ATL.
GiGi: You're so right! ATL is the worst of those mentioned. Multiple lanes, crazy people going who the hell knows where...it's a nightmare.
I learned how to drive in Atlanta going around i-285..was the only person there that was going 55 mph.
